Many plants contain essential oils, think when you crush lavender and you are left with an oily residue on your fingertips or when you peel an orange and you get squirted in the eye with that potent (yet amazing smelling) orange oil. Essential oils are found in various different parts of plants such as fruits, flowers, roots, bark and leaves.
